NEW LOCATION! NEW CLASSES!
We are SO excited to be working with Obsidian Yoga to offer a new day and two new classes beginning THIS month! Please spread the word!
Our new classes are:
Music Together Mixed-Age: Wed 11am
Music Together Babies: Wed 12pm
Current Music Together classes will also move to this location, except for our Tuesday 5:30p class.
We are also excited to begin working with Dignity Health on Martin Luther King and Craig as well to offer classes to our community. Keep an ear out for new classes there!
This month we are celebrating birthdays with Rae'lynn, Ivy and Isabella! Please join us in wishing them a Happy, happy birthday!
In the Studio
In our Mixed-Age classes, we are enjoying the last month of the winter Bells collection with favorites such as Alabama Gal and Robby Roly! We are so glad to have Ms. Jennifer back and congratulate Ms. Edina on passing her training and apprenticeship!
We hope everyone is looking out for Robby Roly in our songbook! We are looking forward to our songbook scavenger hunt as well as our Friends and Family week!
Rhythm Kids are exploring the Elephant collection with graphic notation, portal tag, and learning all 4 Elephant patterns on the djembe!
In Music Moves, we are continuing to learn about technique, artistry, and improvisation. We are playing with ALL of the tonal modes and rhythmic meters and had fun meeting the new Studio Music Ninja last month!
The Private Studio students have a new composer this month! Watch for the packet to come home! You can listen to this composer's featured pieces in our studio playlist here! These are the tracks the Private Students will use to complete their history packets. Knowing our history informs our future! Private Studio students are also voting on the theme for their Spring recital that will be in May!
