We are constantly training and learning here at the studio and are excited about the trainings our teachers have been taking and will be taking for the summer. These include our director, Kerri completing her Cert 1 with Music Together last fall with Music Together CEO, Susan Darrow and plans to attend the Gordon Institute of Music Learning's 2 week Personal Level Development Course and certify in Piano 1 in Music Learning Theory!
Ms. Kjerstin and Ms. Kerri will also be joining Krista Jadro, student of Marilyn Lowe and creator of the Music Learning Academy, in the Music Moves Book 1 training this spring! This is in addition to quarterly trainings that all of our teachers attend with Music Together. We are on this audiation journey as well and work hard to be the best trained MLT practitioners in the state of Nevada!
We are the only studio in the state that uses an audiation based curriculum to support development from newborn to adult. The journey is comprehensive and fascinating! We love learning more about Music Learning Theory and sharing that expertise with you!
We are excited about our upcoming Spring Recital! Save the dates! May 4th is the group class and May 11th is the Recital! As per tradition, Music Moves students will be participating in the spring recital and should plan on attending the group class as well as the recital!
Summer Camp registration is around the corner. Keep an eye out! All summer camps prepare students for the next year's journey! Private Students are required to attend summer camp to retain their place in the private studio.
